Join us for our coffee morning on Friday 29th September between 9:00 and 12:00.

There will be a selection of delicious cakes and hot drinks available to help us raise as much money as we can for this fantastic cause! 

Nurse Practitioners

Mrs Lorraine Smith (f)

Advanced Clinical Practitioner RN (Adult) MSc NMP

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Lorraine can:

  • Prescribe any medicine for any condition within their competence (including some controlled medicines) 
  • See patients with undiagnosed, undifferentiated medical conditions and make treatment decisions, including ordering necessary investigations
  • Refer patients to secondary care
  • Undertake appropriate home visits

Nurses

Mrs Janet O'Connor (f)

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice and blood pressure checks. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears. The practice nurse also runs vaccination clinics such as childhood immunisation and travel clinic.

Healthcare Assistants

Rachel HCA (f)

The healthcare assistant will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education, including:

  • Bloods
  • ECG'S
  • Weight management
  • Flu clinic
  • New patient health checks
  • Urinalysis
Kirsten GP assistant (f)

GP Assistants support the practice by providing both administrative and clinical support. Arranging appointments, referrals, tests and follow up appointments of patients.
